Becquerel plush

Description

A collage of the photo shoot I had with my newly-made Becquerel plush. He is HUGE. And I mean HUGE. I originally started making him for my Jade Harley costume but after looking around for a good pattern to use, I started to think 'Gee, wouldn't it be cool if Bec was LIFESIZED!' Clearly I didn't know the amount of work that I'd have to put into this. But he's now a very comfortable pillow and/or cuddling buddy, though I barely fit on my bed with him on it as well. :p
It took nearly 4m of white minky fleece (just enough left over to make a God Cat plush if I ever feel like picking up a needle again) and took me about a week to make. I had to reprint it twice because it wasn't big enough and had to resew the legs nearly twenty times until I finally figured out the best way to do it. Note to self: read the tutorial that goes with the pattern, it's there for a reason.
I modified the tail from the pattern, as I can remember ever seeing Bec with a typical curving wolf tail (look at the pattern to see what I mean) and the cheek fur-things are different as well. I was going to change the ears and add a bit of a furry-thing on his chest to (because that's how he's drawn) but I like how the ears look now and his chest sticks out enough as it is.
I'll be doing a photo-shoot in my casual Jade Harley costume soon, whenever my roommate feels like taking pictures for me.
Kudos to :iconisismasshiro: and :iconvexiwolf: for the pattern, it was a god-send finding this. It saved me the trouble of having to make one myself (and honestly no matter how much work I put into the patter, it would NEVER have turned out as good as yours).

Wow, this is really well made! Do you happen to still have the pattern? There are a few people who could use it :P
